In the last few days my Page Rank has been going all over the show though, and internal pages which never had any rank, suddenly getting some and it relates to how often my posts are commented on.

I think with the +1 button and Google+, we’re going to see a whole lot of activity in this regard!

Sometimes sites and pages that drop are restored over the next days/weeks.
Sit tight and wait until the dust settles before making radical changes.
